Lizzie Cui

Springboard Diver

Lizzie is a 1x Olympian, 1x Commonwealth Games athlete specialising in Women’s springboard events. She trained in Auckland before being awarded a scholarship at America at Lousiana State University where she is currently training and studying. She currently trains around 20 hours a week

Liam Stone

Springboard Diver

  • World Champs/Cup (2019, 2017, 2016, 2015 2014)
  • Junior Worlds (2014, 2012, 2010)

Liam began diving when he was 7 years old and is now a 2x Commonwealth Games athlete specialises in the Men’s springboard events. He has returned back to New Zealand after finishing his scholarship at the University of Tennessee where he trains at West Wave. Alongside training 29 hours a week, Liam also coaches Auckland’s future champions in the Talent Squad.

Shaye Boddington

Springboard Diver

  • World Champs (2019, 2017)

After leaving diving at aged 17 due to suffering from bulimia, Shaye returned to the sport after over a 13 year gap. Shaye is now a 1x Commonwealth Games athlete who is also a mother and owns her own tiny house business. She is now practicing harder dives than what she did in her ‘first’ diving career.

Nathan Brown

Platform Diver

  • World Juniors (2018)
  • Grand Prix event (2017, 2019)

Nathan is New Zealand’s best male platform diver. Nathan started diving in 2009, He has attended Junior Worlds in Kiev, Ukraine (2018) and two  Grand Prix in Gold Coast (2017) and California (2019). He was also selected for the team to attend both the 2018 Singapore and Gold Coast Grand Prix events, however, had to pull out due to injury.

Frazer Tavener

Springboard Diver

  • Grand Prix (Gold Coast 2019, 2018, Singapore, 2018)
  • Pacific Juniors (2019)
  • Singapore Nationals (2017)

Frazer is one of our up and coming male springboard divers. Since beginning diving in 2015, he has strived and attended 1x World Junior event in Kiev, Ukraine (2018) and two Grand Prix events held in Gold Coast (2018) and Singapore (2018). In 2020, Frazer is aiming to not compete in his second World Junior Champs, but also high-level European Grand Prix events in Spain and Germany. 

Holly Morse

Platform Diver

  • Singapore Nationals (2018, 2017)

Holly is our up and coming female platform diver. After only starting at the end of 2015, Holly competed at the World Juniors event in Kiev, Ukraine (2018). Unfortunately Holly is recovering from a back injury so is currently out of the pool until she has recovered. Holly is also be aiming for her second World Junior Champs in 2020, however, this depends on her injury,

Luke Sipkes

Luke is our up and coming, male platform diver. After only diving for 2 years, Luke scored a place on the 2018 World Juniors team and competed in Kiev, Ukraine along with Frazer, Nathan and Holly. Luke is aiming to compete in his second World Junior Champs in 2020.

Maggie Squire

Springboard Diver

  • CAMO Invitational, Montreal, Canada (2018)
  • Pacific Juniors (2019)
  • Singapore Nationals (2018) 

Maggie began diving with us in 2014 and at only aged 13 scored a spot in the DNZ National Team as she was selected to represent New Zealand in the 2019 Gold Coast and Malaysia Grand Prix Events. Maggie is aiming for her first World Junior Champs in Ukraine 2020.
